William Galloway

Gender:

Age:
Twenty-one
Class:
Mage.
Creature:

Physical Appearance:
Dark brown. It seemed like the only colour he actually wore; it wasn't because he didn't have any other clothes, on the contrary, he had many more clothes than you would expect a young man to own, it was just that he liked to wear those clothes. William would wear dark brown trousers that were tucked into large black boots. Well, they would have been black if they weren't nearly always covered in mud. A slightly paler, sepia colour was that of the loosely fitting shirt that he usually wore with what looked like string on the front of the collar to tighten or loosen it.
Similar to the clothing, a scruffy mop or auburn hair sat atop a lightly tanned body. A few freckles threatening to the otherwise flawless skin, William owns one mark, a scar on the inner side of the lower section of his left arm. Large, ochre eyes, placed above a small mouth and a button nose, full of emotion. On his right wrist a thin strip of beige material with the word William sewed into it, a present from his mum. Another gift is a gold necklace that had been passed from generation to generation of the Galloway family members; for safe keeping and due to the fact that William doesn't actually think it looks very nice, he keeps it in an inner pocket in his shirt placed where his heart is.
Personality:
An overbearing father meant that William was never able to do as he wanted, well, never able to freely and openly do as he wanted. William has a lot of passion for some things, but this is rarely, if ever, seen. Most of the time, William was fairly lazy. He would do the minimum amount needed to get by because anything more would be unneeded, a calming philosophy some would say. All of the men in the Galloway family were warriors and all of the women were riders but both William and his sister didn't want to do this, they wanted to be different. You could say that meant William just wanted to rebel but the truth was that he had a passion for magic.
William had a very good mind; his brain was an endless source of needless trivia, but at times these things were good to know, they had gotten him out of some pretty tight jams before. His mind also worked quite analytically and although his physical strength and speed are average, his tactics would normally give him an advantage. William tends to like being alone more than being part of a group, in fact he used to lock himself in a room and read book upon book just trying to absorb some knowledge, but works fairly well with people who give him his own space, he does not think of himself as a leader, he would rather take a back seat, but if pushed nearly always makes the best decisions for the group.
Extras:
As all men in his family are warriors, William was trained to fight using a sword, he never really stood out but he could fight well enough to hold his own against some weaker warriors. It is because of this that sometimes if he is low on funds, he will take hunting jobs from merchants.

This is an introduction to my character in a digimon roleplay on Gaia. Sorry if there are any spelling mistakes. ^^
There again, that monstrous groaning that had taken over the atmosphere in the cart. It was annoying. Haburi had arrived before most people and boarded in a cart that had seated no other people -but other slowly began to join him. Everyone here seemed to be teenagers and from his corner-seat he could see them and their stupid questions. It happened about ten minutes after he first sat down, after people arrived they started questioning each other as to why they were here and then everyone started talking about "Phantom texts" as some annoying boy conversed with another; Haburi had to admit it was quite funny to watch especially when he started talking dramatically only to squeak halfway through -his voice was breaking. Haburi placed his head against the wall and took a chance to take a nap, if this was going to be an adventure of some sorts then he didn't know how long he would have to be deprived of sleep.
When he next awoke he could start to hear groaning and could hear some faint questions -people in another cart inquiring as to what was happening. Haburi's eyes wandered around the room; there were groups of people looking scared, he could see some traces of tears on some of their faces. He knew that he hadn't missed anything important because people were still asking each other the same questions. He could see people looking around the room and asking eachother where the voice was coming from which frustrated him, it was obvious that it was the actual train talking, the train had already inferred that.
That was when it happened that ear piercing, thunderous roar took place; someone must have caused the train harm which he wished hadn't happened. He had a feeling that his ears would still be ringing in twenty-four hours. Haburi had long since noticed that his phone was no longer that, it was instead a grey piece of technology, but he decided that any answers he would have got for this question would only lead to more questions, something that he didn't want clogging up his mind. Some light purple-headed guy popped out of nowhere, at first just a silhouette caused from the light behind him but after a few seconds, Haburi noticed some other traits, his clothing and the way he stood -this guy had a sense of courage but that wasn't what first popped into his head. Then his trail of thought was totally cut. Haburi's eyes fell upon a small being that had appeared next to him. It was a bird... Sort of. Haburi's eyes went straight to what was wrong with the bird, it had a strong row of teeth in it's beak, it's legs were rather muscular; a powerful kick it must have, but the most unique thing about the bird was the fact that it had three long sharp claws on each wing. The arrival made Haburi uneasy but if you compared it with some other people in the cart then it could have been Haburi meeting up with an old friend. Raising one eyebrow, he asked "Hello...?"
The bird took this chance to look him up and down and nod. "Falcomon." It was simple, the bird stated it's own name. "And you must be Haburi. Your hair is darker that I thought it was going to be." For a moment Haburi seemed speechless, he barely stopped himself from saying 'Yes I'm the surprise.'
Falcomon continued to stare at Haburi, measuring him up. "I am your new partner." The bird stated, there was no question there, it was an order, Haburi had no choice in the matter. Haburi gave a "Hmm" sound and said, "I didn't have an old partner so there is no need thanks. Bye." Haburi knew that this would do nothing that much was obvious but it still gave him something to say. "Good try." The bird's voice was dripping with sarcasm.
